Hi I’m Mamma Vittoria. In 1982, I combined my love for cooking and meeting people by opening a typically Italian, family restaurant in Smith Street, Fitzroy, Mamma Vittoria’s.
Since that first day I have been lovingly serving my customers nothing but the very best and along the way met some wonderful people, who I’m thankful to say, many of whom still come in to my restaurant. Always family owned and operated, many of my family have spent their time working in the restaurant. Today, one of my sons, Riccardo, has the run of the kitchen, cooking up new tasty dishes to complement my traditional, Italian inspired, Mamma Vittoria favourites.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my customers for being so helpful and encouraging. Without them I would not have made it this far. They have been so good to my family and myself. Please take your time to look through my website and if you ever feel like a dining experience like it used to be, come in and see Riccardo and myself, I’m sure you won’t go home hungry!
